AspiraDAC
AspiraDAC is pioneering solar-powered Direct Air Capture, using Australian sun to permanently remove CO2 from the atmosphere
Climate tech focus
Company mission
AspiraDAC is pioneering the world’s first modular, scalable and solar powered Direct Air Capture (DAC) technology, removing carbon dioxide (CO2) directly from the atmosphere and storing it in permanent geological reserves.
Being solar-powered, the DAC technology is unique in its ability to be placed in remote areas, within close proximity to geological sequestration storage sites, and operate without traditional power supply, while using 90% less land to capture the same amount of CO2 in reforestation projects.
Australia has the ideal conditions for solar energy, coupled with close proximity to some of the world’s best geological sequestration sites. Just as Australia has the opportunity to be a renewable energy powerhouse, with this innovative technology, we have the potential to be a world leader in capturing and storing CO2.
