GreenTech WA inspires, mobilises and connects green entrepreneurship in Western Australia. We support innovation, commercialisation and tech development to catalyse a green, low-carbon future for all.

We support innovators to develop skills, knowledge and experience to develop their ideas and grow their enterprises. Fostering collaboration between industry, research and innovation, the Hub will help catalyse and connect green ventures and commercialisation across WA.

Our innovation Challenges are opportunities for the GreenTech community to support innovative solutions addressing real-world challenges across areas including decarbonisation, biodiversity loss and realising a circular economy.

Participants develop solutions that align directly to the needs of industry and communities, accelerating their own enterprise whilst realising globally relevant impact.

GreenTech Hub launched its first Innovation Challenge – The Long Game – focused on long duration energy storage (LDES) tailored to Western Australia’s unique energy needs.

The Challenge is a unique opportunity for innovators to pilot solutions in real-world conditions, gain exposure to leading energy funders and access tailored support to help scale technologies for deployment in WA.

Innovators of LDES solutions at all stages of development are welcome to take part. Submissions close 31 October 2025.
