My name is Billie Jo Hohepa-Ropiha and I am the creator of the BDÉT Foam Wash, a natural foam that’s applied to toilet paper and turns it into a flushable, cleansing, hygienic wipe. BDÉT is both a wet wipe alternative and toilet paper enhancer. As you know wet wipes are a major cause for destruction in residential and city-wide wastewater systems here in Aotearoa and Globally. The problem is further exacerbated because of the fact that wet wipes are made from plastic and don’t break down. So we are on a mission to change behaviours and habits for a more eco-friendly green solution.
