InfigoLabs
Decarbonising the hard-to-abate sector by electrifying production of high-temperature heat
Climate tech focus
Company mission
InfigoLabs electrifies production of high temperature heat, abating CO2 in gigatons.
Instead of centuries old method of heating water in metal tubes (metal introudces temperature limits) and using air for combustion (wasting energy in heating up 78% nitrogen, while polluting the air irreversibly), InfigoLabs' patented Hydrox Combustion Technology drastically slows down the explosive reaction between hydrogen and oxygen in ceramic-lined reactor to produce very high temperature heat, completely decarbonising the hard-to-abate sector.
The absence of air in our process and elimination of metallurgical constraints unlocks value in industrial processes, making decarbonising an attractive business proposition. Thus, we can produce high-temperature heat on the surface of the Moon or Mars. When applied to ethylene production, we increase its yield by >12%, increase uptime by ~15% and produce zero-carbon pyrolysis hydrogen byproduct - the cheapest hydrogen to decarbonise other sectors.
