Maki Planet Systems (MPS) is a climate tech company working to scale the practice of Savanna Fire Management globally to reduce carbon emissions and preserve the world's savanna landscapes and forests.

Our innovative approach brings the latest science and technology together with Indigenous Australian practices and traditional knowledge. We promote nature based solutions and techniques to prevent combat wildfires, reduce emissions, and remove carbon from the atmosphere. Our impact is measurable and verifiable on continental scales through rigorous fire monitoring and measurement.

We are working in partnership with the International Savanna Fire Management Institute on a methodology to quantify carbon removals and avoidance from the practice of traditional fire management, driving rapid scale of this practice worldwide.
