This role offers a unique opportunity to play a crucial role in the design and development of our diverse range of projects, whilst contributing to the ongoing enhancement of our quality assurance practices.

You will be leading and building your team to find new ways of identifying and reducing resources, such as energy, carbon, waste, water, gas and labour.

Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Development Team Leader, you will:

• Lead and build a team of developers.
• Contribute to design sessions.
• Build decoupled, testable, and maintainable code.
• Foster a collaborative environment by sharing knowledge and working closely with fellow team members.
• Apply engineering methodologies to solve intricate challenges effectively.

Your Skills and Experience

• At least 7 years in a software development role.
• Experience in a team lead or senior engineering position.
• Deep understanding of software development life cycles and a passion for design.
• Proficiency with the Microsoft technology stack including C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core, T-SQL, and Entity Framework.
• Hands-on approach to development and implementation.
• Familiarity with modern design patterns and a willingness to learn Azure technologies.
• Experience with Azure, particularly Azure Functions and Container Apps, is highly favourable.
