The opportunity Our client is seeking a Business Development Manager with a strong background in the renewable energy sector, particularly in residential battery storage or solar sales. You will be responsible for setting up and growing sales channels, building relationships with key stakeholders, and driving the company’s market presence.
You'll be responsible for:
- Establishing and growing sales channels and processes for residential battery storage systems.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with distributors, installers, and wholesalers.
- Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to increase market penetration.
- Collaborating with internal teams to deliver tailored energy solutions to customers.
- Monitoring market trends and competitor activity to inform strategic decisions.
- Establishing sound business development processes and systems to track and report on success
- Growing a team around you
About you You are a visionary thinker with a proactive attitude, capable of working autonomously and driving your own success. You have a proven track record in Business Development within the renewable energy sector, with a focus on residential battery storage or solar systems.
In addition, you will have:
- Extensive experience in business development within the renewable energy industry.
- A strong network of contacts within the industry, including distributors, installers, and wholesalers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport at all levels.
- A strategic mindset, with the ability to identify and capitalise on new opportunities.
- A self-starter mentality with a high level of initiative and the capability to work under pressure.
